About Us

 

My name is Claire. I am a third generation genealogist and have spent over 10 years researching client family history after discovering my own passion for history. Real history, people history - the workings of workhouses, the servant quarters of mansions and the coal miners who risk life and limb to make a living for their families. 

 

I love finding the quirky details of family history, my own ancestral history was more interesting then I could have ever predicted, including heroes, murder victims and workhouse children. 

 

Over the years I have had the honour to be trusted to undertake this personal journey with my clients and I hope to be able to continue this work with many more clients to come. We have recently expanded and now there are a few more members of staff in the office. 

 

In the last few years the presentation of my findings has changed a lot, my clients mean a lot to me and any comments I get are fully taken on board. One thing my clients always ask for is a way of showing off their information without having to move binders, files or remember to take memory devices.

 

We spent a few years perfecting this and this is now available for every client. Websites created personally for you and your family, password protected and easily accessible from any internet ready device.
